JOHN'S MOLONG BLOG: 6 December 2017 | What happened on this day in the Molong of yesteryear? | And your guide to the weather and what's happening locally.

From Molong on 6 December 1884, The Australian Town & Country Journal reported: "A Cudalite has undertaken to 'eat his hat' if there are not more bricks in the entire village of Cudal than in one solitary building in Molong, viz, the 'Commercial Bank Buildings'. It is generally supposed that he will have to eat his head gear."
