JOHN'S MOLONG BLOG: 8 December 2017 | What happened on this day in the Molong of yesteryear? | And your guide to the weather and what's happening locally.

From Molong on 8 December 1911, The Molong Argus reported: "Tuesday's flood washed up a number of fish on to the banks of the Molong Creek ... We hear that Mr Sid Lee had a quantity of hay, stooked on a flat near the Molong Creek, at Larras Lee, washed away by Monday night's flood. It is stated that the flood waters were [more than a foot] over the Three Rivers bridge."
