From Molong on 30 December 1910, The Molong Argus reported: "During the past year the town of Molong has made some progress in the erection of new buildings, but the only two of any architectural beauty are the Convent and the Telegraph Hotel, but there are rumours that during the coming year several fine buildings will be erected in Bank St."
