JOHN'S MOLONG BLOG: 23 January 2019 | What happened on this day in the Molong of yesteryear? And what's happening today and in the near future.

From Molong on 23 January 1920, The Molong Argus reported: "As the mail train was running into Molong on Wednesday night of last week, and when running under the overhead bridge at West End, it was stoned. The window of the end carriage was broken as also was one in the guardsvan, and stones landed inside the compartment. The police are investigating the matter."
