From Molong on 28 January 1916, The Molong Argus reported: "The many friends of Mrs Dr Ross, for many years a resident of Molong, will regret to learn that she is at present an inmate of Brooklyn Private Hospital, suffering from typhoid fever. She is now convalescent."
