Molong Probus Club report

At our last Probus Club meeting (Tuesday 14 February) we were entertained by a very vibrant Kerry Nicholls who lived for 23 years in Mexico.

She gave us a brief outline on the history and about her experiences living there, the many colourful festivals, and the different customs, in particular the times they work and have their meals, which is quite often very late into the night as they have at least two hours off in the middle of the day.

In the cities there is some beautiful architecture and the landscape includes jungle and lovely blue waters.

Our next meeting is on Tuesday 14 March at the Molong Bowling Club, commencing at 10am and it is our Annual General Meeting. Janis Glasson will be our guest speaker.

Just a reminder that our April meeting will be on Tuesday 11 April, and we will having our car rally following a quick morning tea.

All old, present and any new members would be very welcome to join us. Bring along your friends as well, but we will need to have numbers by Friday 7 April for catering purposes.
