Orange FOOD Week tickets on sale Monday
Orange FOOD Week, Australia’s longest-running regional food festival and one of Australia’s top 10 food festivals, will this year run from Friday 31 March to Sunday 9 April.
Tickets go on sale next Monday (16 January) at 10am so make sure that you read the program by visiting https://brandorange.com.au/ and getting in for what you want to attend before it’s too late.
Signature events include:
FOOD Week Night Market, Friday, 31 March, Robertson Park, Orange, 5.30-8.30pm. Features stalls representing the best of the region’s chefs, cooks, caterers, providores, winemakers, cidermakers and beermakers. With foot-tapping music and communal dining under the stars. 100-Mile Dinner, Monday 3 April, Molong Village Green, Molong, 6.30pm, with bases departing Orange Civic Theatre at 6pm. Dinner under the stars with food from Bathurst, Cowra, Molong, Mudgee and Orange, prepared by the district’s best chefs. $125 per head includes all food and beverages (bus $20 per head extra). FOOD Train, departs Sydney Central 7.18am Friday 7 April, returns 9pm Sunday 9 April. Start with a light breakfast on board and be whisked away to savour the best of the district including lunch with producers and a fine-dining experience. Forage, various local vineyards, buses depart Orange Civic Theatre 11.30am Saturday 8 April, returning at 6pm. Wander 3.6 kilometres through vineyard country, with wine tastings and tasting plates every 500 metres, accompanied by knowledgeable locals. Phone James Sweetapple on 0428 656 100.
Sunday Producers’ Market and Brunch, Cook Park, Orange, 8.30am-12.30pm. Enjoy brunch prepared by well known cooks and producers. Stroll the market to taste and purchase local produce. A free event. Phone Richard Dowling on 0412 199 404.
