Get ready for Orange FOOD Week

There is less than a month to go until the Orange region comes alive to showcase its finest fresh produce and cool-climate wines during FOOD Week, which will run 31 March to 9 April.

“Orange FOOD Week sees the need to take responsibility for its impact,” said President James Sweetapple.

“As one of Australia’s longest-running regional food festivals, we are looking at how we can effect change on a local economic, social and environmental level for this year’s events.

“The goal is to implement sustainable practices such as using biodegradable food vessels at the Night Market (31 March) and the Sunday Producers’ Market (9 April) and recycling and composting waste products at all events.

“And remember, every week is food-and-wine week in Orange.”
