ANTY gets its long-awaited audience with Paul Toole

Molong Online hears that Marj Bollinger, spokesperson for Cabonne’s Amalgamation No Thank You (ANTY) group, received a phone call late Monday inviting her to an eagerly anticipated but seemingly unlikely meeting with Paul Toole, the — at least for the time being — NSW Minister for Local Government.

The meeting apparently took place yesterday morning in Orange, with Peter Batten, another ANTY activist keeping Marj company.

According to Marj, the meeting went well, with her and Peter given the chance to spell out the case for an independent Cabonne and gaining a further meeting with Toole in the New Year — if he isn’t repositioned in a likely upcoming Cabinet reshuffle.

Molong Online gathers that both Marj and Peter were polite yet extremely forthcoming in their words with Minister Toole.

Well done, to both of you. Watch this space for further details.

Marj Bollinger ... a good chance to spell out the case for an independent Cabonne.
