Cabonne will elect new Deputy Mayor next week

Cabonne Council will elect a new Deputy Mayor when it meets next Tuesday (28 February) after Cr Lachie MacSmith stepped down from the role this week.

Although he will continue to serve as a councillor, Cr MacSmith cited work commitments and other time constraints as his reasons for resigning from the position he has held for the past four-and-a-half years.
