Safety in school zones
Molong Central School Principal Michelle Barrett has reminded parents about appropriate use of the drop-off zone at the entrance of the school’s Primary section.
She said that school zones were dangerous places when rules were not adhered to, and that there were also fines that could apply.
“It has been noted that parents are parking in the no-parking area and getting out of their car,” she said.
“This has implications for other road uses and increases the risks to our precious children.
“Could all parents please abide by the rules.
“If you would like to park and come into the school, there are adjoining streets with plenty of parking spaces. Please help keep our children safe.”
