FLANELLED FOOLS: 18 DECEMBER 2016 Easy wins to Country and Cudal Yesterday's round 8 of the Molong Oilsplus Crciket Competition saw wasy wins by Country over Magpies, and Cudal over Telegraph. At Hunter Caldwell Park, Country scored 4-215 (Brett Wykes 101 not out) before dismissing Magpies for 79. We don't have complete scoresheets for the other game but Molong Online gathers that Cudal scored 260-odd and that Telegraph were dismissed for about 65. The results leave Telegraph struggling in last place with their next match agains the seemingly invincible Country. Whoever wins the other match between Magpies and Cudal will move into outright second and probably an assured spot in the three-team finals series.
