Molong Saturday afternoon cricket to resume but T20 competition on hold

The Molong Saturday afternoon cricket competition will resume on Saturday week (14 January) following its festive-season break, with the following games scheduled for that day: Country v Telegraph at Hunter Caldwell, and Magpies v Cudal at the Molong Rec Ground. Both matches start at 1pm.

Meanwhile, there has had to be a major change to the association’s schedule due to Molong’s green keeper being away on leave from 16 to 24 January. This has meant the cancellation of the T20 competition that was to have been held on Saturday 21 February and its replacement with a general bye.

Association Secretary/Treasurer Greg Pringle is investigating the possibility of a midweek evening T20 replacement competition later this month.
