Close singles games in extreme conditions

The Manildra Bowling Club had three games of championship singles played in extreme conditions on Saturday.

All the games were very close, with the results being Mark Gosper defeated Andrew Gosper, Troy Williams defeated Glenn Gosper and Iain Campbell defeated Ben Allcorn.

There was one game on Sunday with Graham Fliedner proving to strong for Steven Ball.

That brings the schedule down to the semi-finals, and with Pennants starting soon please play as soon as possible.

The Adams-Hughes shield will be held this Friday evening at Molong. Teams are on the board with game to start at 6.30pm.

No Friday or Saturday socials were held this week because of the heat, but they will be as normal this week.

The club did try for our Corner to Corner on Saturday evening, with Mark Gosper getting very close to get himself a free drink so the jackpot now stands at $625.
