Poor start for Pennant teams

It wasn’t the best start for Manildra’s Pennant teams on Sunday, with the No 4 team unable to find form on the carpet at Wallerawang, going down on all rinks.

The club’s No 6 team managed to win two rinks against Parkes Railway but went down by four shots on the big board.

With both teams playing at home this week, club members hope the results will be in their favour. Check the boards for teams.

The Two Day Invitational Triples will be held in two weeks, and the club still has a few spots left for any other club interested.

No social bowls this week due to the rain. Friday twilights and Saturday mini-carnival as normal this week.
