Both of today's games in the Oilplus Molong Cricket Competition — Freemasons v Cudal and Magpies v Country — have offically been declared wash-outs, with all teams gaining five competition points.

That leaves the competition table standing as follows after five rounds:

Country 33 (four wins and one washout)

Magpies 25 (two wins, two losses and one washout)

Freemasons 21 (one win, three losses and one washout)

Cudal 21 (one win, three losses and one washout)

I guess that the only winners on the day were Magpies who avoided almost certain defeat at the hands of an again rampant Country.

Next Saturday's games are: Freemasons v Country, Molong Rec; Cudal v Magpies, Cudal — 40 overs per side, games start at 1pm.
