MOLONG GENEALOGY: 15 JANUARY 2019
A connection with Samuel Marsden
A recent exploration of the origins of the Bett St name rekindled my interest in Molong genealogy, especially as it provided a link with Samuel Marsden.
We have begun further exploring the Betts link.
Molong Online's Molong district family tree, or rather a compilation of district family trees, can be accessed by visiting http://molong.tribalpages.com. There is no need to enter any password.
The tree now contains at least 10 people belonging to each of the following familes:
BETTS, BLOOMFIELD, BRAZIER, HAYES, HILL, LANGDON, NEVILLE, PACKHAM, PARSLOW, PIDDINGTON, REID, THORBY and WOOLBANK.
Click on the above link to begin exploring those families.
Though obviously still in very early days, the tree already contains some interesting information. I realise the enormity of the task I have taken on and would obviously appreciate your help corrections, suggestions, information, or just plain encouragement. Please contact me by email (mailto:john@molong.com.au) or via Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/MolongOnline).
The tree has been put together using Tribal Page’s online software. I’ve long found it a very useful tool. Visit http://www.tribalpages.com.
