Molong Caravan Park, Cnr Hill St & Watson St, Molong (right on the Mitchell Highway), phone 6366 8328 — Always welcomes pets in its on-site vans but but not in its cabins. Is a popular place for dog owners during the annual state-championship sheep-dog trials. Dogs must be leashed and cleaned up after.

The Bakery Café, 54-56 Bank St, Molong, phone 6366 8006 — Dogs and other pets are most welcome with owners who are seated in the popular footpath area, Owners Brenden and Paula have even welcomed a horse ot two, and a cat. A water bowl is always provided on the footpath.

Cowra Japanese Gardens, Ken Nakajima Place, Cowra — The Cowra Japanese Garden and Cultural Centre was established to recognise and develop the relationship between the people of Cowra Shire and Japan. Lots for you and your dog to do in the stunning landscaped gardens including feeding the resident koi fish.

Bill Robinson Park, Lachlan Valley Way, Cowra — This park is a leach-free environment with interactive dog agility equipment, dog-friendly drinking stations, seating and shaded areas. Walk along the banks of the Lachlan River and take your dog for a swim.

Centennial Park, Rocket St, Bathurst — Large open park with kids' playground. Dogs permitted off-leash before 8am and after 5pm.

Kefford St Park, Kefford St, Bathurst — This is a dedicated off-leash exercise area for dogs; full fenced.

Jacques Park, Violet St, South Bathurst — This off-leash park provides plenty of space for your dog to run around. Bewtween Alma and Violet Sts.
